Los Angeles, CADolphin Group is a long-time consultant to Walmart and works on variety of public affairs initiatives for the Company. In 2012, a local union made this proposed store ground zero to stop Walmart growth in the region and deployed their resources to stop approvals of this much-needed grocery store in downtown LA.
Dolphin Group launched a strategy to establish a clear narrative early and recruit key influencer endorsements that the local community could relate to and trust. We mounted a multilingual “personal” ground campaign as well as paid and earned media efforts to recruit and activate a diverse group of neighborhood supporters. We secured the support of community and non-profit influencers from the broader downtown area and the business community to further validate the Company.
